Quang Kien Van

Quang Kien Van works as a choreographer, movement director and teacher.

His choreographic credits include: Mid-Autumn Dances, Lunar Shadows (QKV Projects); SHAME: a double bill (Bang Bang Bang Group); Lunar Orbits, Lunar Corps (Chinese Arts Space); Tottenham Symphony, Bunny Dance (Royal Court/Beyond the Court). In 2019 he was awarded an MGCFutures Bursary to develop a new stage work entitled Babylon.

Movement direction credits include: Boots (Bunker Theatre); Forgotten (New Earth Theatre/Moongate Productions); Goats, Pah-la (Royal Court Theatre). He has lead workshops and courses for organisations such as Mountview Academy, Scottish Dance Theatre and New Earth Theatre.

As a dancer, Quang performed with companies such as Adventures in Motion Pictures, Skanes Danstheater, Peter Schaufuss Ballet, ENO, Cirque du Soleil, Michael Clark Company, Salon K Berlin, Scottish Dance Theatre and The Royal Court Theatre amongst others.
