James Cooney is a British Filipino performer and writer from Manchester. He studied at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA). In 2014 he was shortlisted for Best Male Performance at The Off West End Awards for his performance in Bottleneck. Between 2016 and 2020 James was a member of The Royal Shakespeare Company.
